The problem is that the song is on two different loops on the JM and on one phrase for the RC, two tracks but one phrase. Setting up for JamSync is simply accomplished by connecting a mini-jack stereo cable from the dedicated output of one pedal thus designating it as the master unit to the other's input. Anything on the JM will be erased and diigtech with whatever was in your playlist. The problem is that I will need a cheat sheet since all I have on the JM are loop numbers. Since the backing tracks are all full songs, they will have to be set up as a one-shot, which the JM will do.

I use the JamMan mono for movie quotes and samples and such alongside my RC. I have one tune that goes from a Rumba sigitech a Blues Swing.
Both machines will switch seamlessly between the two parts of the song. I haven't used the software at all. I have been using my RC loaded with my backing tracks and prerecorded loops. The one thing that I didn't realize is that when you transfer data back to the JM from the manager software it clears everything off the JM and loads what ever kammanager in your playlist in its place.
digitexh You might find it easier to just drag and drop on your unit if it works the same way. I have a Duo and the place we typically play at is really challenged for space. Time stretching is available for phrase training, although the JamMan Solo's facility to plug in headphones has gone. Cons The first 15 memories have factory drum loops in them. I usually do these things one at a time, and my material is pretty short rarely over 1 minute each.
This may be specific to the stereo. The JamManager software was a little more of a challenge. With 16 seconds of delay time, a tap tempo footswitch, and full morphing of the delay controls via the expression input, the JamMan Delay is in a class all its own.
If that's the case, you might be better with my setup, which is a mono dual-peadal JamMan along with the Digitech FS3X sadly, it has to be that one and not a typical 2-button, but oh well.

The ability to save, to transfer, and to organize your loops using your computer takes the JamMan far beyond all other looping slftware.
Now, a new way to loop! The process wouldn't be so bad if the connection between the computer and the JMS was more stable. Similarly, you can load it with backing tracks for onstage dogitech, although hands-free changing from one loop to the next does require the use of an additional FS3X triple footswitch.
